What Customers Say About LEGO Imperial All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST):

It took me days to figure out. He has put together numerous 1000+ lego sets on his own including the sandcrawler & general grevious. I bought this for my 9-year-old son who loves legos and is extremely good at them. Even when it is in correctly it falls apart easily. Of all his lego sets, this is the one that he has needed help. Its very difficult to understand how to get the sides into the pins. This is not a set you can play with or even touch as the whole thing just crumbles. However, it is very cool looking once built as a display piece and my son loves having it in his room.

I thouroughly enjoyed put this model together. It is a very good looking model but fragile. Great fun.

My 9 year old son loves this lego project. It's not a project that is durable for playing. I made the purchase based on having fun with following instructions and to end up with a nice project.

Legos and Bionicles are his favorite toys. My wife and I have always marveled at his concentration and his skills. I'm writing my son's comments here. It's only for the most skilled and careful Lego builders, but builders who enjoy collections instead of playing with creations. But after watching him work though his frustrations, I realized that this fancier set was analogous to an expensive car for a middle aged guy with a hairpiece. He can create amazing inventions with both of these sets including joints and connections I never would have thought of.His comments:"This set is very fragile. More importantly though, this is the first Lego item I've ever purchased that didn't bring 100% joy to my son.

It's truly inspiring to see a "toy" like Lego challenge him and motivate him to go further with the next creation. But first I'll mention that he is 11 yrs old and is a very skilled Lego engineer. He builds the sets according to the directions, then he elaborates on them to build even more imaginative creations. The slightest touch shatters the majority of it. This set is nice to look at, but you can't play with it at all."Dad's comments again:This will be the first item I've ever returned to Amazon. I really thought this set would be a reward for him, now that he's older, more responsible, and fully capable of appreciating and building a set like this. That's not what I wanted for my son.

bucks. At first I was skeptical to build this guy, because it is the biggest lego set I've built to date (1000+ Peices). That is the reason I purchased this set and was blown away by the size and detail level of the model, it looks like something you would spend [.]. It is pretty intimidating when you open the box and see every single piece, but with this set I just happened to find the peice I was looking for when I needed it during construction, I guess that is part of the brilliance of the Lego brand. This model is huge and the head is very flimsy, if it wasn't for this one rubber band that Lego included, the head would be falling apart all over the place, so kudos to Lego for that rubber band, that saved this set for me.Something else that should be kept in mind is that this set is not a toy, there are no mini-figs, its pretty much strictly for collectors and people that enjoy building Lego sets and don't have a problem putting them aside, any attempt to play with this thing it will break due to it's sheer size, detail level and flimsiness.Other than that, you can't be the price of [.]. dollars on, So I am incredibly happy with it. Love it.
